SARA has four types of gatherings:
- Weekly Nets
- Saturday Breakfast
- Quarterly Board Meetings
- Annual Business Meeting
Nets
SARA holds a general weekly net on Thursdays at 8:00 PM on a monthly rotation with the 147.375, 145.270, & 442.450 MHz repeaters. The net is divided into 4 parts: Check-ins, Announcements, Comments, and Swap-N-Shop then Closing Remarks. All licensed hams are invited to join the net.
Weekly Specialty Nets include:

SARA Breakfast
SARA holds it's breakfast at IHOP (International House of Pancakes), 10 Simpson Ln, Fredericksburg, VA (Rt. 17 North @ I-95) at 8:00 AM on the 1st, 3rd, & 5th Saturdays of each month. All licensed hams and anyone else interested in Amateur Radio are invited!!
Quarterly Board Meetings
Quarterly Board Meetings are held in conjunction with a Saturday morning breakfast. All members are welcome and encouraged to attend.
Annual Business Meeting
SARA holds its annual business meeting in October at a date TBD by the SARA Board of Directors.
