Upcoming.... The 2021 Virginia QSO Party is scheduled during the weekend of 20-21 March 2021

We encourage amateur radio opertors accross the Commonwealth to participate in the Virginia QSO Party. The Virginia QSO Party is sponsored by the Sterling Park Amateur Radio Club (SPARC). Its objective is to promote amateur radio activity in Virginia’s 95 Counties and 39 Independent Cities. Rules for participation can be found at 2021 Virginia QSO Party.

Thank you for visiting our website! We are a collection of enthusiasts of all ages in the pursuit of Amateur Radio (otherwise known as "Ham" Radio). We come from every walk of life: Accountants, Firemen, Paramedics, IT Professionals, Tradesmen, Engineers, Law Enforcement, Federal Contractors, Government Employees, Nurses, Students, Mechanics, Full-time Hobbyist (retirees) ...well, you get the picture.

We currently meet at Paradise Diner, 260 Warrenton Rd, Fredericksburg, VA 22405, on Route 17 (east of I-95 at the 133 exit) in Stafford Virginia, every Saturday at 0800.

As you journey through this site, you will find that we offer a variety of radio activities. If at any time you have a suggestion or some activity you would like within the association, touch the "contact us" button, record and send your idea.
