Welcome to the Stafford Area Radio Association (SARA) webpage!

Our association consists of 60+ Amateur Radio Operators. We own and operate several repeaters in Stafford, Virginia.

SARA repeaters are on backup power and have a wide range of approximate 45 mile radius coverage area along the I-95 corridor (North to Washington, D.C. and South to mile marker 100 near King’s Dominion area).  Primary areas include:

• Stafford
• Prince William
• Spotsylvania
• King George
• Fredericksburg

General Information

Our membership runs from July 1st to June 30th and is prorated if you join in the middle. Dues are $36 per individual/family. What is the benefit of joining? If you are ready to join, fill out and submit the Online Membership Application Form to support our repeaters and take advantage of all the membership benefits.
